Open Source x Startups Collaboration Program

OSCP 2025

Empowering Innovation Through Collaboration

The Open Source x Startups Collaboration Program (OSCP) connects innovative startups with talented engineering students to collaborate on real-world, impactful projects.

About the Program

OSCP brings together startups looking to accelerate their products or open-source initiatives and students eager to gain professional experience. Over a focused collaboration period, students work closely with startup mentors on concrete technical challenges, contributing real value while sharpening their skills.

This program creates a win–win environment where startups benefit from fresh ideas and technical support, while students gain exposure to real startup environments, modern technologies, and professional workflows.

How It Works

1. Startup Project Submission

Startups submit project proposals aligned with their roadmap or open-source goals.

  • • Project title and description
  • • Required technologies
  • • Estimated duration (8–10 weeks)
  • • Mentor contact information

2. Student Applications

Students apply to available projects by submitting:

  • • Technical background
  • • Proposed work plan and timeline
  • • Learning objectives and motivation

3. Matching & Collaboration

Selected students are matched with startups. The collaboration includes:

  • • Weekly mentorship meetings
  • • Progress tracking and milestone reviews
  • • Continuous feedback exchange

4. Demo Day & Recognition

Students present their projects during Demo Day in front of:

  • • Startup representatives
  • • Faculty members and partners
  • • Outstanding contributions are celebrated
